Procurement Resource Analyst - Web Designer (NWS 00670)

THIS POSITION IS SHORT TERM, MAX 1000 HOURS PER CALENDAR YEAR


North Wind Services is actively seeking individuals who can contribute to national security within the science, technology, and engineering fields as part of our supplemental labor team at vital federal research and development installations supporting the Department of Energy.

NWS has an established history of contributing to the success of their customer's mission. Available employment opportunities may range from administrative and logístical support to advanced technical positions.


Qualified applicants must be a US citizen, at least 18 years of age, and able to meet pre-employment requirements including any required physicals, drug screen, and/or background investigation to satisfy clearance requirements from the Department of Energy.


The Supply Chain Management (SCM) Department has an opening for a Procurement Resource Analyst to support a wide variety of projects supporting contracting activities.

This role will be primarily responsible for the updating of the SCM External website, to include leading effort for a re-design to improve outward facing communication.

In addition, this role will provide support for the transition of the internal SCM website to SharePoint.

Other aspects of this role will include partnering with managers, system users, and other customers to improve SCM business process through the identification of business requirements, collaboration with technology teams, and implementation of new tools.


Essential Duties

  • Assist SCM Data Oversight SME with the development of data analytics scripts for use by Procurement Card Review team.
  • Assist with compilation of data and development of dashboards for use by the SCM Systems Group.
  • Perform other duties as required.

Essential Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities

  • Associate's degree in General Education, or Business Administration, Information Technology, or equivalent combination of experience and education related to the essential skills knowledge and abilities below.
  • Intermediate to Advance knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word and Excel and Adobe Acrobat.
  • Experience with data analytics tools.
  • Demonstrated problem solving and decisionmaking skills.
  • Strong organizational and planning skills with the ability to multitask in a fastpaced environment.
  • Experience with analyzing business processes, developing requirements, and recommending solutions.
  • Excellent communicator who can understand and deliver information in a clear, open, and accurate method in both an oral and written manner.

Desired Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities

  • Knowledge of Power BI
  • Knowledge of Python and R Studio
  • Knowledge of MicroStrategy
