Job Summary and Qualifications:

What You Will Do In Your Role

  • Under the general supervision of the Director of Risk Management and in coordination with the Infection Control Committee, the Manager of Employee Health Perform as the Employee Health Nurse and Injury Coordinator.
  • Establishes and implements guidelines that are directed toward the prevention, detection and control of infectious processes and workrelated injuries/illness of all Hospital Employees.
  • You will ensure that nursing care is based on the nursing process and evaluates the effectiveness on an ongoing basis.
  • Establishes a hospitalwide employee health program in collaboration with the Infection Control and Safety Committee and risk manager.
  • You will demonstrate team work, adaptability, and serve as a resource to the team.

What qualifications you will need:

  • Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing is required. Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred or Associates in Nursing Degree AND required.
  • At least 3 years of experience in an clinical nursing experience with management experience required.
  • Current Registered Nurse License in the State of Texas or Multi-State Compact License (Employees with RN Compact License are required to obtain Texas RN License within 90 days of hire date).
  • Current American Heart Association BLS Certification is required.
