We are currently seeking a Senior Software Engineer with experience in metadata to join our team in Rebersburg. Our company is a large database company that is currently in the process of rebuilding our core keyvalue store. This store is a part of a huge distributed system built on GoLang, EKS, and Amazon.

The ideal candidate will have a strong software engineering background and experience working on the infrastructure side. They will be responsible for building new golang operators to support the rebuilding of our core product and controlplane.

Our team is a mix of pure Software Engineers and SREs, and we are looking for someone who can bring both software engineering skills and infrastructure knowledge to the table.

In addition to rebuilding our core product and controlplane, we are also in the process of building a kubernetes operator in golang.

Therefore, we are seeking someone with experience in this area to join our team.

Responsibilities:

Making core infrastructure changes, such as rebuilding container orchestration (GoLang, Kubernetes)
Rebuilding Kubernetes runtime and autoscaling
Software Engineering (Python, C++, Golang) any language will be considered
Improving the performance and scalability of our core product
Scaling the core product on AWS
Working closely with the database team
Implementing a service mesh
