Pennsylvania Hospital is seeking a CTT Data Coordinator for our CAR-T-Therapy Unit at Pennsylvania Hospital. This is a full-time day opportunity.

Summary:


  • The CTT Coordinator at Pennsylvania Hospital is responsible for the accurate and timely reporting of data related to the cellular therapy and transplant process to registries, insurers, etc. This role is also able to make professional judgments and appropriately report clinical data to internal and external customers and assist with organization of data and information for the department, including communication with referring providers and insurance companies. To be successful, the CTT Data Coordinator will be detailoriented with strong organizational, time management, interpersonal and communication skills. Must be flexible to respond to requests and meet deadlines and able to work collaboratively with team members as well as independently. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office. Data management skills a plus.

Responsibilities:


  • Represent the Program to external organizations (registries/insurers) as a skilled and competent professional.
  • Anticipate the data reporting requirements of registries and insurers to ensure deadlines are met.
  • Ensures confidentiality of patient data reported to registries and insurers.
  • Complete data registry forms accurately and in a timely manner for the transplant population in collaboration with other CTT Coordinators.
  • Completes queries, requests for information, Center of Excellence data reviews as assigned accurately and in a timely manner to meet deadlines.
  • Work as a team with other CTT Coordinators to complete CPI requirements to maintain Program's good standing
  • Assists with organization of data and information for the department, including communication with referring providers and insurance companies.
  • Flexible in response to Program needs and needs of external organizations (CTT, CIBMTR, insurers).
  • Act as a resource to internal staff in regard to CTT reporting requirements.
  • Identifies opportunities to facilitate documentation of reportable data.
  • Participates in quality initiatives such as audits as needed. Participates in the preparation of audits/reviews by internal and external bodies including but not limited to CTT, CIBMTR and FACT as needed.
  • Communicates in a professional manner with coworkers, internal staff and external contacts.
  • Keeps informed of changes in CTT reporting requirements and incorporates into practice and shares with other Coordinators.
  • Acquires new knowledge relevant to current responsibilities via CTT newsletter and online training.
  • Performs other duties as assigned and assists other CTT staff as needed and as directed

Education or Equivalent Experience:


  • Associates degree required.
  • Bachelors degree preferred.
  • 2+ years of relevant experience preferred.
  • Previous health care experience and/or registry or data management experience preferred.
