    About the Maintenance Technician Role:
    We are seeking a skilled maintenance technician to handle various maintenance tasks in apartments and properties. The role involves ensuring top-notch customer service and maintaining the property's appeal.



    • Perform repairs on electrical, plumbing, appliances, flooring, carpentry, HVAC, and landscaping
    • Conduct carpentry tasks like wallboard repair, cabinet replacement, and window/glass repair
    • Execute preventative maintenance activities such as painting, lighting, and pool maintenance
    • Inspect property for maintenance needs and ensure timely completion of work orders
    • Assist in property emergencies like snow removal and fire incidents
    • Uphold safety standards and regulations at all times
    • Maintain cleanliness and curb appeal of the property


    Education and Experience:



    • High school diploma or equivalent
    • Minimum of one year experience in property management or related field
    • Proficiency in maintenance and carpentry


    Skills and Requirements:



    • Proficient in English language
    • Customer service and interpersonal skills
    • Strong organizational and time-management abilities
    • Capable of multitasking and basic mathematical functions
    • Ability to handle challenging situations and maintain confidentiality
    • Professional appearance and demeanor
    • Valid driver's license, clean driving record, and auto insurance
    • Completion of Fair Housing, Diversity, and Inclusion Training within 30 days of employment


    Scheduling:



    • Flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
    • May require on-call availability during staffing shortages


    Environment:



    • Exposure to various weather conditions
    • Work in confined spaces and potential exposure to hazards
    • Interaction with the public and ability to handle difficult situations
    • Adherence to safety protocols at all times


    Physical Requirements:



    • Lifting, walking, climbing stairs, and using maintenance equipment
    • Visual and auditory acuity for emergencies and instructions
    • Ability to work under supervision and in stressful situations
