ODEG - Ostdeutsche Eisenbahn GmbH is a modern railway company providing local transport services on behalf of the five federal states of Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania, Brandenburg, Berlin, Saxony-Anhalt and Saxony. With currently 80 yellow-green trains, ODEG safely and quality-consciously transports 21.9 million passengers annually on 15 lines with a total length of approximately 1,560 kilometers, making it the largest private railway in eastern Germany. Together with its wholly-owned subsidiary, ODIG - Ostdeutsche Instandhaltungsgesellschaft mbH, it is responsible for around 815 employees.

For the start of our training program, we are looking for trainees with a great interest and genuine enthusiasm for railway traffic, trains, and the technology associated with it. The training takes place in Berlin as well as at various locations of ODEG and potentially other cooperation partners. You will also have the opportunity to get to know other railway companies and maintenance facilities within the group.

What can you expect from the training?
  • You will learn all the regulations, rules, and guidelines that are important for railway traffic in Germany
  • You will also learn all the internal content and regulations of our modern railway company (EVU)
