For our company alugha in Mannheim, we are currently looking for a software developer (m/f/d) in the field of web and server development.

Alugha is Swahili and literally means "one language". Our mission is to overcome language barriers.

With the alugha player, it is now possible for the first time worldwide to add multiple language tracks to online videos, meaning: 1 video = many languages. This technology allows knowledge to be spread quickly around the world.

The Alugha GmbH was founded in April 2014 by Bernd Korz and Gregor Greinert in Mannheim. Currently, the team of founders consists of 36 employees and freelancers.

What you should bring

  • Good knowledge of JavaScript (ES2015) / TypeScript
  • Good knowledge of React
  • Knowledge of HTML5 & CSS3
  • Knowledge of Git
  • Good knowledge of Node and mongoDB
  • Knowledge of GraphQL
