We expect:


  • University degree (mechanical engineering, aerospace, chemical engineering, applied or numerical mathematics, etc.) with excellent academic performance
  • Demonstrated commitment and talent for teaching at the university level
  • Proficiency in both English and German
  • Interest in our research topics, high motivation for independent scientific work in an excellent team
  • Focus of studies or knowledge in fluid mechanics / acoustics / combustion / control engineering / dynamic systems / numerical methods
  • Experience in scientific computing and numerical simulation (e.g. Python, Matlab, OpenFOAM, FENICS)

We offer:

a full-time position as a research assistant with the opportunity for a doctorate (starting in Q2, The position is limited to a maximum of five years.

The salary will be based on the collective agreement for public service employees in the federal states (TV-L, salary group E13).
