We are an owner-managed medium-sized company in the plastics processing industry with almost 100 employees. We are currently seeking dedicated reinforcements for our injection molding department in full-time as

Shift Supervisor for Plastic Technology (m/f/d)

Your responsibilities include:

  • Setting up and operating injection molding machines (mainly Arburg) with their corresponding peripherals and automations
  • Ensuring and verifying quality requirements and maintaining quality control documentation
  • Documenting all production papers and documents
  • Optimizing individual process flows in coordination with quality control and superiors
  • Monitoring the entire material supply
  • Managing and scheduling machine operators and assembly workers
  • Training and instructing employees on work instructions and procedures
  • Communicating and documenting all important production information across shifts

Your qualifications:

  • Successfully completed technical apprenticeship (process mechanic for plastics and rubber technology or similar)
  • At least 2-3 years of professional experience in operating injection molding machines
  • Experience and competence in managing employees
  • Comprehensive knowledge of production processes
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Independent and structured work style
