Your responsibilities:

  • Independent supervision and ensuring the error-free function, availability, security, and data integrity of internal laboratory information systems
  • Independent conception, configuration, and process control of laboratory processes, including programming adjustments
  • Backup and restore using scientific knowledge
  • Monitoring and online connection of laboratory equipment, including implementation in server structure and services
  • Installation and maintenance of all hardware components, as well as maintenance of interfaces, further development of laboratory information systems, and administration/migration of existing servers

Your profile:

  • Completed degree in IT (e.g. computer science, bioinformatics, medical informatics) or equivalent
  • Experience in project management, administration, migration, and documentation in larger complex (IT) environments
  • Excellent knowledge of Windows Server 2008 R2, administration and migration of complex IT infrastructures, as well as structuring and porting of data
