Description

The Program Compliance/Quality Assurance Worker will play a pivotal role in ensuring the adherence to regulatory standards, program guidelines, and quality assurance protocols within the Adult Protective Services (APS) program at the state level.

Working closely with the APS State Coordinator, this position will involve monitoring, evaluating, and enhancing program performance to optimize service delivery and client outcomes.


Key Responsibilities include:

Compliance Monitoring:

Conduct regular reviews and audits of APS program activities, case files, and documentation to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, policies, and procedures.


Quality Assurance:

Develop and implement quality assurance frameworks, protocols, and performance indicators to assess the effectiveness and efficiency of APS interventions, investigations, case management and evaluation of intervention outcomes.


Data Analysis:
Analyze program data, trends, and outcomes to identify areas for improvement, best practices, and areas of concern. Generate reports and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders.

Professional Development and Training:
Conduct assessments of staff training needs and developtargeted professional development plans.

Collaborate with the APS State Coordinator to develop and deliver training programs, workshops, and resources to enhance staff competency in compliance, quality assurance, and best practices.


Policy Development:

Assist in the development and revision of APS program policies, procedures, and guidelines based on regulatory changes, emerging trends, and stakeholder feedback.


Stakeholder Engagement:

Foster positive working relationships with state agencies, community partners, advocacy groups, and other stakeholders to promote collaboration, information sharing, and coordinated responses to APS-related issues.


Risk Management:

Identify potential risks, vulnerabilities, and gaps in program operations and recommend proactive measures to mitigate risks and enhance program integrity.


Program Enhancement through Continuous Improvement:
Engage in program review meetings, workgroups, and committees to offer ideas, insights, and recommendations for ongoing improvement initiatives.

Client Feedback Integration:

Implement feedback mechanisms to gather input from clients or their representatives regarding the quality and effectiveness of APS interventions, thereby enriching continuous improvement efforts.


Interdepartmental Collaboration:
Foster collaboration with other organizational departments or divisions to develop comprehensive strategies for enhancing program compliance

Cultural Awareness and Sensitivity:

Emphasize the significance of cultural competency and sensitivity across all aspects of program compliance, recognizing the diverse population served by APS.


Emergency Response Planning:

Engage in activities aimed at guaranteeing the readiness and efficacy of the APS program in times of emergencies or crisis scenarios.


Technological Integration and Innovation:
Propose and implement technological enhancements, and explore innovative solutions to enhance program compliance
