Cosmetics training (including additional qualification in make-up possible)

As a state-certified beautician, you have a very versatile and independent job in the field of health care and body care.

In your daily work, you will advise clients on body and beauty care and perform treatments on the whole body. There is a distinction between caring and decorative cosmetics. In addition to various facial treatments (wellness for relaxation and beauty, for example with skin cleansing), students are trained in decorative cosmetics (professional make-up), facial, neck and shoulder massage, and cosmetic foot care.

The training takes place at the Cosmetic College and in practical internships (alternating). In the 2nd year of training, you will spend two days a week in an internship and three days at school. Students also gain practical knowledge on model days, where they perform various treatments on clients under professional supervision.

In addition, students can take a make-up course.

The 2-year cosmetics training includes the following job-related learning fields/subjects:

Create cosmetic diagnoses

Perform decorative measures, cosmetic massages, and special treatments

Clean, prepare, and care for skin and appendages

Assist customers and conduct sales conversations

Provide health-oriented advice and support
