Your tasks as a Technical Purchaser

  • Procure technical components, assemblies, and materials according to manufacturing requirements
  • Manage suppliers, including selection, evaluation, and development of supplier relationships
  • Negotiate contracts, terms, and prices with suppliers
  • Ensure delivery dates and quality in close coordination with production

Qualifications for the role of Technical Purchaser

  • Completed technical or business education, ideally with further training in purchasing
  • Professional experience in technical purchasing, preferably in a manufacturing company
  • Technical understanding and knowledge of production processes
  • Negotiation skills and assertiveness
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team
