The HGK Logistics and Intermodal combines its many years of expertise in handling specific goods with a comprehensive network of its own logistics hubs, ports, terminals, and specialized transport capacities. Based on this, it develops suitable logistics concepts, from customer-specific warehousing and contract logistics offerings to the organization of all transport and handling services in intermodal freight transport. The use of sustainable means of transport such as inland vessels or freight trains in the main transport is an integral part of its DNA.

We are looking for motivated trainees (m/f/d) for the 2024 training year at our HGK Logistics and Intermodal GmbH location in Ladenburg near Mannheim.

Your responsibilities
  • You will learn and apply all commercial processes in the field of forwarding and logistics
  • In addition, you will plan, organize and control logistics processes
  • Your responsibilities also include organizing freight shipments, handling, storage, and national and international logistics services on all modes of transport
  • Furthermore, you will support in price calculation and subsequent submission of offers
  • You will learn about correspondence and communication with business partners and customers
  • You can put the theoretical foundations from vocational school into practice with us and contribute to sustainable supply security
