Your tasks


The tasks as an administrative employee include:

  • Administrative and organizational tasks in the International and Languages department
  • Decisionmaking on the admission of international students based on current guidelines
  • Information and advice for foreign student applicants
  • General secretarial tasks and preparation of statistics
  • Support of project scientific staff in the further development and adaptation of the university's internationalization to current needs
  • Participation in the establishment of support programs for students and the expansion of a welcoming culture
  • Implementation of marketing measures to increase the international visibility and awareness of the university in cooperation with relevant departments
  • Research and independent evaluation of national and international events such as fairs and workshops
  • Undertaking additional tasks for the department or the University of Kaiserslautern depending on strategic direction and progress of internationalization
Your profile

  • Completed vocational training in the commercial sector or in public administration or similar qualification
  • Nativelevel German language skills; very good English language skills
  • Very good knowledge of the Office package required
  • Experience with Microsoft Access or other databases is an advantage
  • Very good organizational skills
  • Strong team spirit and communication skills
  • Intercultural competence and affinity for internationalization
  • Sufficient knowledge of the university and preferably the structures and working methods of the International and Languages department
