Join our team in Berlin and become a part of Diaperville Our apprenticeship program lasts for 3 years.

In addition to learning about surface preparation, installation of solid wood floors, and surface treatment, you will also learn the basics of woodworking.

The theoretical training takes place one week per month at the vocational school. There are also additional training courses outside of the company.

Our last apprentice completed the journeyman's examination with a score of 1 and was named the state champion of Berlin.


In theory, you will learn about floor coverings and materials, practice calculations, study wood science, learn about installation patterns, quality control, and workplace safety.

In practice, you will cut, glue, and install floor coverings, prepare subfloors, measure rooms and calculate material needs, create room sketches and installation plans, clean and maintain floors, and create insulation.

You will also learn how to interact with customers.


We are looking for candidates with strong manual skills, spatial imagination, calculation abilities for material needs, and attention to detail.
