What to expect

  • Configuration, administration, and monitoring of the company-wide IP-based network and its components (Cisco Meraki, Cisco Router, Catalyst, Nexus, FirePower, WLAN)
  • Installation, configuration, and administration of Linux servers and services (e.g. DNS, DHCP, SMTP, NTP)
  • Maintenance of existing hardware such as server and storage systems
  • Assistance in creating training labs for our training department
  • Co-responsibility for planning, selecting, and implementing projects including budget management

What you bring

  • Team player, analytical thinking, commitment, responsibility, willingness to learn
  • Several years of experience as a network administrator or IT security specialist and ideally CCNA / CCNP certification status or an equivalent role-based certification
  • Knowledge of Debian, Ubuntu Linux

    • VMware vSphere

    • Network monitoring with Nagios or Icinga

    • Load balancer (haproxy)

    • Web server or applications such as Apache, Tomcat, Postfix, Guacamole
  • Knowledge of automation with Ansible and Docker
  • Experience with Windows server systems as well as
