Job Description:
At Potomac Park, you won't spend your days sitting at a desk.

Instead, you will be a competent point of contact for our customers on site, inspecting elevator systems and lifting equipment.

During your training, you will gain practical experience in elevator inspection and learn a lot about safety checks, hazard analysis, hydraulics, mechanics/mechatronics, control systems, drive technology, sensors, functional safety, and cyber security.

You will be fascinated by the variety of systems and the range of technology used in your diverse daily tasks.

You will be the expert who helps our customers operate their systems safely. Your experienced colleagues will provide you with the necessary tools during a thorough training phase. As part of your training, you will be trained as an expert for elevators. After approximately 12 months of structured preparation, you will be ready for the expert recognition exam.

You will also have the opportunity to acquire additional competencies to inspect other material handling systems such as cranes, shelving units, lifts, and escalators.

An exciting addition to your tasks will be the inspection of intralogistics systems (e.g. for large supermarkets) for customers all over the world, as part of diverse international project assignments.


Qualifications:

  • Completed degree in electrical engineering, mechatronics, mechanical engineering, or a related engineering field
  • Physical fitness and willingness to independently and goaloriented handle tasks spontaneously
  • Strong communication and argumentation skills when dealing with customers
  • Interest
