In the Social Economics program, you will receive a broad social economic qualification profile that prepares you for a career in the social sector. The program focuses on combining business knowledge with social expertise and methods. As a future social economist, you will always keep the social aspect of your future work in mind, as this field promises meaningful professional activities.

The range of tasks includes pedagogical, economic, and administrative areas, as well as human resources, organization, and controlling.

You will be trained in a three-year Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) program in Social Economics. Access to further Master's programs is open.

The "Social Economics" (B.A.) program is a dual program at the DHBW Villingen-Schwenningen. The program lasts a total of 3 years and begins on October 1st. In each semester, students have both study phases at the Dual University and practical phases in the practice positions. The study focus at the county office is "Public Social Administration".
