Your tasks

  • Conceptualization, design and specification of motor, sensor, electronic and control components of electric drive technology
  • Calculation of the operating behavior of drive systems consisting of motor, gearbox, sensors and drive controllers
  • Hardware development for electronics and integrated drive systems
  • Commissioning of drives in the test field for functional/qualification testing
  • Project management in the development of drive components for mechatronic systems
  • Validation of new design and technology elements of electric drive components
  • Creation of test specifications for qualification tests
  • Technical support for other departments
  • Technical documentation of development results
  • Presentation of development results to internal/external stakeholders

Your profile

  • Completed degree in electrical engineering/mechatronics (M.Sc./Dipl.-Ing.)
  • Expertise in the areas of design and operating behavior of electric motors, control engineering, motor feedback systems, or in the design of electronic assemblies and application experience with electronic CAD software
  • Basic understanding of systems (gearbox/motor/motor feedback/drive controller)
  • Basic knowledge of fieldbuses (CANopen, EtherCAT) desirable
  • Knowledge of programming in Matlab
  • Experience in commission
