Key Tasks and Responsibilities


As a member of the team, you will be responsible for the following tasks:

  • Supporting the Spacecraft Harness work package and delivering associated components (hardware, models, documentation) for BCD phase space programs within project teams, to customers, and to partners;
  • Contributing to the analysis of customer/mission requirements and deriving higher-level requirements for harnesses, as well as assisting in the preparation of harness requirements specifications for manufacturers;
  • Collaborating in the definition of wiring harnesses using the Engineering Base tool (from Aucotec), including:
    • Defining functional and physical electrical wiring, such as functional channels (FC);
    • Creating cables and wiring lists, as well as electrical drawings (block and wiring diagrams) that are consistent with other technical infrastructure;
    • Performing software engineering and electrical integration;
    • Generating exports for wiring harness suppliers;
  • Contributing to the definition of geometric wiring harness designs in collaboration with Mechanical Engineering;
  • Conducting relevant analyses, such as voltage drop, cable/connector derating, and mass estimation;
