The CRC focuses on a wide range of research topics including algebraic combinatorics, automorphic forms, arithmetic and complex algebraic geometry, categorical representation theory, geometric group theory, harmonic analysis on locally symmetric spaces, and the theory of affine buildings.

The CRC TRR 358 offers a stimulating research environment with numerous guest visits, seminars, and workshops, as well as generous funding for business trips.
