What do surface coaters actually do?

Surface coaters enhance metal and plastic with metallic coatings to improve their appearance or technical properties. In everyday life, nothing would be possible without them. Galvanic coating can be found everywhere, whether in smartphones, cars, furniture, or bathrooms. It is unimaginable without surface coaters.

In the apprenticeship, you will learn a lot about chemistry and electrical engineering to control the processes in galvanization and treat the resulting waste products so that the chemical substances do not flow uncontrollably into the environment. You will work in the laboratory to analyze samples, test and document the surface structure, as well as directly in production to optimize all processes and coat the components yourself.

The dual apprenticeship combines theory and practice in three years, through active participation in our company, supplemented by block lessons at the vocational school.
