Tasks & Responsibilities:


  • You inspect and assess pipeline systems and components to ensure safety.
  • After the inspection, you create reports on the safety condition of pipeline systems, equipment, and components.
  • A major focus of your work will be evaluating the remaining strength and service life of pipeline systems, especially after an intelligent pig inspection, and analyzing damages.
  • You will also develop existing programs for calculating the service life of damaged components.
  • The suitability testing of pipelines for the transport of hydrogen will also be a significant part of your job.

Experience & Qualifications:


  • Completed degree (Dipl.
Ing / Master) in mechanical engineering, process engineering, or a similar field of study

  • Professional experience in the field of service life calculation and assessment of defects preferred
  • Willingness to keep uptodate with relevant regulations
  • Very good German and good English skills, both written and spoken
  • Class B driver's license and willingness to travel
