JOB DESCRIPTION

The specialists for warehouse logistics are employed in both the operational and the dispositional area of the warehouse. They are involved in the logistics process from the receipt of goods to the processing of shipments. This requires them to communicate and cooperate with upstream and downstream functional areas. Occupational safety and environmental protection are of particular importance for the specialist (m/f/d) for warehouse logistics.

The regular training period is 3 years and can be shortened to 2.5 years with very good to good performance (vocational school/company) during the training.

The training takes place mainly at our logistics center in Hannover.

► Your tasks

Participation in logistical planning and organizational processes

Acceptance of goods and checking of deliveries based on accompanying documents

Transporting and delivering goods to the company's destination

Unpacking, sorting and storing goods according to requirements and economic principles in compliance with warehouse regulations

Conducting inventory checks and measures for inventory maintenance

Picking and packing goods for shipments and assembling them into loading units

Labeling, marking and securing shipments according to legal requirements

Creating loading lists/loading plans in compliance with loading regulations
