"The German Railway is one of the most diverse employers in Germany. Every year, we are looking for over 5,000 apprentices in 50 different professions who want to grow and improve with us.

We are currently seeking candidates for a 3.5-year apprenticeship as an Electronics Technician for Operating Technology (m/f/d) at DB Fernverkehr AG in Lörrach. The vocational school is located in Freiburg.
At DB, we have a variety of opportunities for Electronics Technicians in different areas. Depending on your interests and the availability of apprenticeship positions, you can train as an Electronics Technician on our trains, tracks and power lines, at our train stations, or in our workshops where the regular power grid is converted into the railway power grid.
What to expect during your apprenticeship:

Your apprenticeship will offer a lot of variety, as you will rotate between working at the company, the training workshop, and attending vocational school on a weekly basis
You will never be alone in your learning, as you will have dedicated trainers and will also learn alongside other apprentices, forming lifelong friendships

Working on our trains:

You will ensure that all electronic components on our trains, such as doors and information displays, are functioning properly and that our trains are always ready for service
