For our Hamburg headquarters, we are currently seeking a Trainee Corporate Communication & External Affairs (m/w/d) to join our team on September 1st, 2024.


In this role, you will have the opportunity to kickstart your career in international travel retail through our 18-month program.

As a Corporate Communications & External Affairs trainee, you will gain valuable insights into communications consulting for various departments, including employee, customer, and supplier communications, as well as press and political liaison work.

During the program, you will have the chance to:


  • Gain handson experience and take on responsibility for your own projects
  • Face diverse challenges both domestically and internationally, including at our retail locations and international subsidiaries
  • Support our global internal communication channels for employees at regional headquarters, logistics centers, and stores worldwide
  • Assist with corporate reporting and contribute to internal and external communication efforts (digital and analog)
  • Handle international journalist inquiries and help organize press conferences
  • Plan and execute events for B2B partners, suppliers, and employees
  • Collaborate with the Corporate Communications Manager to prepare content for internal and external stakeholders, such as presentations and decision papers
