    We are currently looking for a Lead Trainer to join our team at a dynamic manufacturing company. As a Lead Trainer, you will play a crucial role in providing classroom and on-the-job training to new and current employees, ensuring they acquire the necessary skills and knowledge for their roles.     Job Description

    This position offers a Monday-Friday schedule with flexibility to cover different shifts as needed. You will be responsible for delivering Safety, Quality, and Production training classes, assessing trainees' performance, maintaining training records, and collaborating with management to address training issues effectively. Additionally, you will guide employees on machine operations, conduct surveys to evaluate training methods, and ensure a safe working environment.

    • Provide classroom and on-the-job training
    • Assess trainee performance and communicate with Supervision
    • Maintain training records and checklists
    • Work collaboratively with management on training solutions
    • Encourage positive attitudes towards training and work duties
    • Guide employees on machine operations and troubleshooting
    • Ensure compliance with safety procedures

    Qualifications

    General:

    • Comfortable speaking in public
    • Demonstrate integrity and ethical behaviors
    • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
    • Good attendance record and team player

    Education and/or Experience:

    • High School diploma or equivalent
    • 2+ years of training delivery experience in manufacturing
    • Knowledge of packaging equipment and procedures
    • Experience in flexible packaging industry

    Competencies:

    • Conduct training effectively
    • Instruct on machine operations
    • Knowledge of production equipment
    • Adherence to safety policies and procedures
    • Time management and flexibility

    Language Skills:

    • Strong English communication skills
    • Ability to explain tasks clearly and communicate with diverse audiences
    • Cross-cultural communication abilities

    Mathematical Skills:

    • Basic mathematical capabilities

    Computer Skills:

    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
    • Ability to learn advanced Excel & Word

    Work Environment:

    The Trainer will work in a Semi-Climate controlled and climate-controlled environment, conducting training sessions and job instructions. The role involves interacting with small or large groups in varied temperatures within a manufacturing setting.

    Physical Demands:

    The role requires standing for extended periods using both hands and arms, lifting weights, and performing various physical tasks. The Trainer must adapt to the physical demands of the work environment.

    Travel Requirements:

    Occasional travel to other facilities may be required based on training needs, with up to 10% travel time.
