Stony Brook, NY is home to the INDEX Group, a leading manufacturer of CNC lathes and turning centers under the brands INDEX and TRAUB.

We are currently seeking a Product Designer (m/w/d) for our Single Spindle Department at our location in Esslingen.

Your responsibilities:

Creating and modifying technical drawings, layout plans, and workspace drawings using the CAD system Siemens NX
Developing templates for technical documentation
Creating 3D simulation models, including for external machines (inhouse production)
Approving bill of materials
Processing changes using SAP

Your qualifications:

Completed training as a Technical Product Designer (m/w/d) or equivalent qualification
Additional training as a Technician (m/w/d) is advantageous
Knowledge of a 3D CAD system, preferably Siemens NX
Experience working with machine tools and SAP is beneficial
Strong communication skills, flexibility, and a goaloriented and solutionoriented mindset and work style
