Summary:

The main functions of a financial analyst are to gather and analyze financial information; will typically conduct quantitative analyses of information affecting investment programs of public or private institutions. A typical financial analyst is responsible for analyzing and communicating financial information for clients.

Specific responsibilities include:

Conduct 3month business forecasts, including comprehensive forecasts on logistics cost and overhead expenses as well as of business environmental changes to provide better financial visibility to management.
Analyze data and compare to the monthly, quarterly and yearly forecast to track cost fluctuation.
Prepare financial related analysis and research in area such financial and cost saving performance measure
Create, Update and maintain financial model of logistics cost to support decision making process
Prepare and perform monthend closing from a managerial standpoint, using SAP Controlling (CO) module while closely monitoring expenses/cost allocation of various profit segments/cost centers.
Manage both operation performance and financial KPI, analyze and develop based on changing
Simulate warehouse space based on GSCM forecast and prevent possible capacity issue of WH storage
Support adhoc report

Skills and Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, Finance or similar
Expertise with SAP and advanced Excel and Power Point skills
Strong analytical skills
Ability to manage and work effectively within crossfunctional groups.
Experience using advanced supply chain management, enterprise planning or financial planning systems is highly desired. (SAP, etc.)
Proven success in a highly dynamic, deadlinedriven environment.
Should have advanced MS Excel and MS PowerPoint knowledge and skills.
Strong communication, both written (PPT presentations) and oral skills.
The ability to work either independently or in a team environment to achieve personal and team project goals, including the completion of assignments within and exceeding established time frames.

Responsibilities:

Assemble spreadsheets and draw charts and graphs used to illustrate technical reports.
Analyze financial information to produce forecast of business, industry and economic conditions for use in making investment decisions.
Interpret data affecting investment programs, such as price, yield, stability and future trends in investment risks
Skills:
Verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, and critical thinking.
Basic ability to work independently and manage ones time.
Basic ability to analyze business trends and project future revenues and expenses.
Basic knowledge of economic and accounting principles, the financial markets, and reporting of financial data.
Basic knowledge of federal, state, and company policies, procedures and regulations as related to accounting.

Education/Experience:

Bachelor's degree in accounting or related financial discipline required. An advanced degree in a financial discipline is preferred.
02 years financial and/or accounting experience required.
