Las Ollas 'BAHIA, which translates to "the bay" in English, is a clearing house for unaccompanied minor refugees in Bremen.

We are a residential facility within the framework of child protection for young people aged 14 to 18 years old.

Since 2014, we have been providing them with protection and sustainable assistance here on Stresemannstraße.

Since August 2022, we have expanded our services to include a youth group home with 7 places for young refugees in the Bremen Neustadt area.

Join our dedicated team We are currently seeking a committed pedagogical specialist (m/f/d); state-recognized social pedagogue, or equivalent qualification, for our residential youth group home on a part-time basis with 25-35 hours per week.

The residential youth group home provides a temporary home for 7 young refugees. The position is permanent.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES · Care and counseling for young people with refugee experience · Support with the integration into German society and education · Collaboration with external institutions and authorities · Participation in team meetings and case conferences · Documentation and reporting on the development and progress of the young people · Implementation of educational and leisure activities · Crisis intervention and conflict resolution · Cooperation with the young people's families and legal guardians · Participation in further training and supervision · Compliance with legal and internal regulations · Contribution to the continuous development of the youth group home.
