The Mobile Youth Work/School Social Work department works in 11 district teams to support disadvantaged children and youth in the community and offers low-threshold counseling and assistance.

We are looking for a


Social Pedagogue as Team Leader (m/f/d)

Position: 75%-100%

Your responsibilities:

  • Supervision of staff and team development for four social work professionals and one student (DHBW Social Work B.A.) with a focus on Mobile Youth Work and School Social Work at five schools
  • Further development of professional standards, implementation of conceptual and quality development processes
  • Presence in the districts of Stuttgart Mitte and Stuttgart Süd, as well as collaboration with community partners
  • Participation in the fields of Mobile Youth Work and School Social Work
  • Interface function to the department management and participation in the management team

Your qualifications:

  • Completed degree in Social Pedagogy or a comparable qualification
  • Basic knowledge and experience in working with children and youth
  • First experience in personnel management and professional guidance is an advantage
  • Commitment, dedication, assertiveness, and conflict resolution skills
  • Enjoyment of independent work and taking on responsibility
  • High level of competence in administration and organization
