Essential Job Responsibilities

  • Conduct safety inspections;
  • Document issues or damages;
  • Lead training seminars;
  • Review safety procedures with employees;
  • Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations;

Requirements and Qualifications

  • A bachelor's degree in occupational safety or related field;
  • Minimum of Three (3) years of experience in the NDT inspection and oil & gas sector is required;
  • Experience with industrial radiography and general nondestructive inspection required;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Ability to interact professionally with various levels of employees and the client;
  • Strong leadership and team training skills;
  • Ability to be effective in fastpaced environments and highpressure situations;
  • Valid Driver's License and preaccess drug & alcohol testing required;
  • Preemployment background checks will be required;
  • Valid TWIC Card required;
  • Bilingual ability (English and Spanish preferred);
  • 40 Hour Radiation Safety Classroom Certificate;
  • Attention to detail;

Physical Requirements

  • Able to use computers and monitors for extended periods daily, required to sit, stand, walk, climb, kneel, use hand to touch, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, and talk and hear;
  • While performing the duties of this job, employees may be exposed to moving mechanical parts, cold, and extreme heat;
  • Occasional lift, carry, maneuver, stack up to 50 lbs;
  • Remain constantly active throughout shift;
  • Vision abilities: close vision & distance vision;
  • Must be able to work indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions to include but not limited to extreme heat and cold;
