Department/Responsibilities:


The District Hospitals Darmstadt-Dieburg are a network with two hospital locations in Groß-Umstadt and Seeheim-Jugenheim, managed by the district of Darmstadt-Dieburg.

We offer our patients comprehensive care that combines modern medical technology with personal attention. The Center for Mental Health at the District Hospital Groß-Umstadt was opened in August 2011.

The center has three wards with a total of 76 beds, an outpatient clinic, and a day clinic in Dieburg with 21 treatment places, and is responsible for providing care for a large part of the Darmstadt-Dieburg district.


The wards have specific treatment focuses:
crisis ward, addiction disorders and psychosis, as well as affective disorders (including ECT treatment).


We are looking for:

Healthcare and Nursing Professionals (m/f/d) for the Operating Department, full-time or part-time

Your responsibilities:

  • Carrying out preparation, monitoring, and postcare measures, as well as assisting in surgical or endoscopic procedures on patients, in accordance with agreed treatment/nursing concepts
  • Preparing and postprocessing the operating unit, including the instruments needed for surgery, in a new, modern Central Sterile Supply Department (ZSVA)
  • Supporting the operating team as a floater
  • Monitoring patients before, during, and after anesthesia, monitoring and caring for patients in the recovery room, as well as taking
