Description

Scalamandré is seeking a Fabric Assistant in our Boston Showroom.

Responsibilities:

Follow up with sample requests and fabric cuttings
Enter memo orders, stock checks, and price checks
Greet clients with a positive attitude and engage in conversation about their project needs
Maintain, organize, and update labels in the memo/sample department
Under mínimal supervision, update and/or rearrange showroom displays with new products or themes
Answer phone calls in the showroom
Open and unpack packages received in the showroom
Keep the showroom clean and presentable (dusting and maintaining organization)
Perform other tasks and duties as assigned

Requirements:

Higher level education relating to interior design, têxtiles, or a design related field preferred
Passion for design and color
Customer service experience
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Strong computer skills (Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Office)
Proactive, selfmotivated approach to working
Willing to learn about Scalamandré's owned and represented brands, including fabrics, wallcoverings, trims, and furniture
Able to access memo shelves via stepladder
Able to lift minimum of 15 lbs
