    Our team members at IA Interior Architects are collaborative, creative, and passionate about interiors. We are currently looking for a Project Architect to join our Bay Area Studios Studio. The Project Architect will provide design support under the supervision of a Senior Job Captain and/or Architect, contributing to project administration, design development, and contract documents.

    Key Responsibilities:


    - Develop contract documents (CDs)


    - Review CDs to ensure adherence to project standards, building codes, and ADA requirements


    - Coordinate with technical and design teams to solve design challenges


    - Manage projects through the contract administration phase


    - Collaborate with engineering consultants to ensure design compliance


    - Assist with field surveys as needed


    - Mentor junior designers and provide constructive feedback


    - Conduct client interviews to determine design requirements

    Qualifications:


    - Degree in architecture or design


    - Licensed Architect


    - 5+ years of experience in corporate interior design

    Skills and Abilities:


    - Proficient in design principles and standards


    - Strong interior architecture detailing skills


    - Knowledge of building systems, codes, and ADA requirements


    - Familiarity with contract administration


    - Advanced skills in Revit and Adobe Creative Suite


    - Excellent verbal and written communication skills


    - Ability to lead and mentor junior staff

    Salary range: $100,000 - $120,000, based on education and experience.
