Job Objective:

We are looking for a plant operator for a Bulk Shipping and Receiving facility.

This person will also be part of a team that is responsible for maintaining, cleaning and repairs on equipment and machinery in the facility.

A successful prospect is one who likes working in a team environment and is willing to get dusty and dirty and who will work day and night shifts, weekends and holidays.

The plant is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Other duties as directed.

Job responsibilities:

Assist in maintaining, cleaning and repairs on equipment and machinery in the facility.
Maintaining and troubleshooting machinery.
Use mobile equipment for material, personnel and product handling
Provide excellent teamwork with other operators and personnel in shipping and receiving.
Know and adhere to Safety Practices.
Be able to work flexible work schedule when requested.
Follow direction and follow through with little or no supervision.
Regular and punctual attendance is required.
Maintain yard cleanliness and adhere to all local, state and federal regulations.
Operate heavy equipment
Trouble shooting

Minimum qualifications:

Must have valid driver's license
Interest in acquiring knowledge of Heavy Equipment Operations.
Must be able to obtain a Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) badge
High school diploma or GED.
Authorized to work in US.
Due to safety regulations you must be 18 to apply.
