Long-term ventilated patients are typically provided with a tracheostomy to ensure a stable airway access. However, the use of a tracheal cannula significantly limits communication abilities, potentially leading to swallowing difficulties. The goal of caring for patients at our specialized hospital is to remove the tracheal cannula to facilitate their care during further rehabilitation and subsequent outpatient treatment.

A workday with us
  • Diagnosis and treatment of all common ENT diseases
  • Swallowing diagnostics (FEES)
  • Voice diagnostics including stroboscopy
  • Hearing diagnostics including pediatric audiological methods
  • Tracheal cannula management, including in an intensive care setting
  • Supporting the rehabilitation of patients with head and neck tumors
  • Pediatric ENT diagnostics and treatment, including for pediatric intensive care patients and children with syndromic diseases
  • Teaching and lecturing at our KLINIK BAVARIA vocational schools
