The Europa-Universität Viadrina Frankfurt (Oder) Foundation is looking to fill the position of IT Administrator*in | Administrative Applications (m/f/d) (reference number ) at the Information, Communication and Multimedia Center (IKMZ) as soon as possible.

The position is full-time (40 hours/week) and can also be filled part-time. The employment is permanent. Without IT, nothing works in university administration.

As an IT administrator*in for the applications of the central administration, you will operate the central databases and applications for finance, students, and personnel and contribute to their further development.

We mainly work with products from HIS eG, but also use other applications for the digitalization of our administrative processes.

Your tasks include:
Administration and further development of applications and systems for university administration, in particular resource management (HIS systems), chip card system (Intercard), time recording (TimeAccess), and form manager (Formularmanager by Xima) (including maintenance of operating systems)

Consulting and technical support for the central administration in implementing further digitalization projects Development and maintenance of interfaces between systems Independent support for the central administration of Viadrina Acting as a substitute for the department head Your profile includes:
University degree in computer science / administrative or business informatics or completed training as an IT specialist for application development with at least three years of professional experience Good knowledge of database administration, especially PostgresSQL, as well as experience with Linux and Windows-based operating systems
