Cornfields Ethernet Research & Standard Engineer

We are currently collaborating with a global technology giant and leading research and development company in search of an experienced Ethernet Research & Standard Engineer to join their Munich Research Centre.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Conduct research on Ethernet cross-layer technologies, with a focus on the cooperation between the physical layer and link layer
  • Contribute to research and patent applications for Ethernet L2 technologies
  • Participate in Ethernet standard meetings and stay updated on the latest trends and developments in Ethernet technologies

Key Skills and Experiences Required:

  • In-depth knowledge of Ethernet protocols and standards
  • Familiarity with international standards, particularly IEEE 802.3
  • University degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science or Electrical Engineering
