Position Summary:
The Data Entry coordinator will ensure that complete and accurate data client data is entered into HMIS and Cal Optima Connect.
Requirements:
Major Areas of Responsibility:
- Collaborates with Cal AIM participating Programs to ensure that data entry into CAL Optima Connect is completed in a timely manner.
- Maintain Data Standards within Apricot to ensure Apricot is up to date with the latest data standards for Cal Connect and HMIS
- Oversee API with Social Solutions and Cal Connect
- Updates made within CAL Connect must be mirrored in Apricot and the API.
- Assist with Release of Records requests and any confidentiality/HIPAA breaches.
- Consulting to Program leadership on data entry procedures and processes relevant to HMIS and CAL Optima Connect
- Assist with HHOC Audit with Director of Compliance and Quality Assurance.
- Collaborates with Manger of Data and Evaluation to ensure accurate data entry into applicable databases.
- Collaborates with Program Staff to run relevant reports for grants and contracts in a timely manner.
- Collaborates with Manger of Data and Evaluation to ensure accuracy of reports prior to report submission by spot checking reports.
- Attends relevant meetings to collaborate with Orangewood staff.
- Attend relevant ongoing meetings with Cal Optima and OC21
- Obtain and maintain relevant HMIS Certifications through engaging in ongoing trainings
Knowledge, Skill and Experience Requirements:
- Experience with data entry, HMIS data entry required
- Experience with Microsoft Excel (12 years) required
- Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to consult to multiple programs.
- Apricot Administrator Certification.
- Ability to read and write reports in Apricot.
- Ability to assess data quality through spot checking data on an ad hoc basis.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Comfortable presenting oneself in community settings.
- Possess a valid California driver's license and proof of automobile insurance. Position requires DMV clearance.
- Preemployment screenings include criminal background check, FBI/DOJ fingerprinting, TB test, drug screen, and previous employment verification

Working Environment/Physical Requirements:
- Position may require use of personal vehicle.
- Physical requirements include standing, sitting, typing, bending and lifting up to approximately 50 lbs. (i.e. tables, chairs, food, water, etc.)
- Modification to work schedule may be made based on need of the Foundation.
