Overview:

FALA Quality Control Specialist

Reports To:
Quality Manager


Overview:
The main function of this position is to perform all duties required to perform product, material, and gage inspection in support of the quality management system


Salary:
$ $27.00 / Hour based on experience

Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM


Responsibilities:


Tasks / Responsibilities:

o Measuring, reverse engineering and creating Solidworks drawings for customers

o Collect and analyze production samples to evaluate quality.

o Analyze quality control test results and provide feedback and interpretation to production management and staff.

o Monitor performance of quality control systems to ensure effectiveness and efficiency.

o Communicate quality control information to all relevant departments, outside vendors and contractors.

o Produce reports regarding nonconformance of products or processes, daily production quality, root cause analyses and quality trends.

o Participate in the development of product specifications.


o Review statistical studies, technological advances and regulatory standards and trends to stay abreast of issues in the field of quality control.

o Identify critical points in the manufacturing process and specify sampling procedures to be used at these points.

  • Performs visual inspection of machined parts and subassemblies to ensure that all products meet the established specifications for reliability and workmanship.
  • Utilizes gages, comparators, calipers, micrometers, rockwell tester, CMM and other manufacturing aids to ensure that all products meet the established specifications for reliability and workmanship.
  • Performs process audits and assists manufacturing with the interpretation of the quality and workmanship standards.
  • Assist in other areas as needed

Qualifications:

Minimum Background, Experience, and Requirements:

o Strong desire to learn on the job.

o Strong organizational, planning and analytical skills

o Must be able to organize work to meet deadlines.

o Reliable attendance, good work ethic, high integrity, must be able to pass background check and drug test.

o Clean, presentable and professional appearance

o Basic math skills
