The practice for child and youth welfare, Iris Schneider, has been treating and caring for children and adolescents with various disorders for over 20 years through individual and group therapies, as well as school and daycare support.


The guiding principle of our work is to understand the child or adolescent as an expert of themselves, with their personal preferences, interests, and abilities.

Our goal is to recognize and promote the interests and resources of each child and to accompany them on their journey towards a self-determined life.

Our team consists of experienced therapists with a degree in education or psychology.

Job Description:


  • Conducting symptomoriented learning therapies for reading and spelling disorders (LRS) and dyscalculia
  • English training for children with dyslexia or reading/writing difficulties
  • Counseling for parents and teachers, as well as contact with other institutions (e.g. youth welfare offices, social welfare offices, child and adolescent psychotherapists, etc.).

Employee Profile:


  • Completed degree or training in pedagogy, special education, social pedagogy, psychology, or educators with additional training in special education
  • Enjoy working with children and adolescents
  • Empathy for the difficult situation of those affected and the ability to recognize and influence accompanying symptoms of dyslexia such as expectations of failure, negative thought patterns, motivational problems,
