Your Role:


As the team leader for our electrical department in Powellsville, NC, you will be responsible for leading the internal team and collaborating with external partners.


Together, you will handle the following tasks:

  • Electrical planning for stationary storage systems with more than 15 MW connection capacity
  • Creating overview circuit diagrams for the entire system
  • Creating specifications for cabling work and coordinating with electrical contractors
  • Inspecting cabling work and other components of the storage systems after installation
  • Planning interfaces between the battery system's energy management system (EMS) and the grid operator
  • Planning communication cabling, including connecting the storage EMS to the control center for maintenance, monitoring, and marketing interfaces
  • Detailed planning of the construction of the handover station/node station

  • You will coordinate and lead the electrical team, ensuring the achievement of team goals
  • You will provide transparency within your team and the company through regular reporting on processes, bottlenecks, risks, and resources
  • You will strategically, personally, and professionally develop your team
  • You will serve as a role model, leading the team with empathy, integrity, and enthusiasm, and promoting a culture of learning and accepting mistakes that allows each team member to grow beyond their limits
  • You will ensure coordinated collaboration with other departments
  • You will maintain a high standard in project management in terms of process methodology, planning quality, and documentation

Your Profile:


  • Previous experience in electrical planning
