Quality inspector - Iuka, IL, United States - Crimson Technologies
Description
Your Responsibilities:
- Measurement of components (geometry, roughness, form and position) in the areas of intermediate, final, and incoming goods inspection
- Visual inspection of components (defect detection)
- Creating error reports
- Entering measurement values and providing feedback on orders using a computer
- Prepackaging of components
- Handling various measuring and testing equipment, as well as stationary standalone geometry measuring devices
- Defining measurement strategies
- Creating material test certificates and documentation
- Working with computer applications (Office, Develop D3, Webtop Infor, Babtec)
- Providing assistance with measurementrelated questions
- Laser marking and cutting of components
What We Expect:
- Experience in the field of quality control
- Strong quality awareness and excellent spatial imagination
- Desirable, but not required, ability to read technical drawings and understand specifications such as form and position tolerances
- Goaloriented and independent work style
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Good German language skills, both written and spoken
- Willingness to be flexible and work in different areas within the department (floater)
- Willingness to work in a 2shift system (early and late shift)
