As one of the most successful and innovative personnel service companies in Germany, we are currently seeking a
Technical Purchaser (m/f/d) for our renowned client in Hamburg, starting immediately, in full-time.

Your responsibilities:

Independent procurement of direct materials for national and international projects in ship engine construction
Processing of requirements from our product areas (stabilizers & rudder machines) for materials and services
Preparation of inquiries for existing and new suppliers
Obtaining and evaluating offers
Negotiation of contract terms
Processing of orders in the ERP system, monitoring of deadlines, reporting and tracking of orders, clarification of deviations
Communication with internal interfaces, e.g. with our scheduling and technical departments
Maintenance of master data, statistics and evaluations

Your profile:

Completed commercial training and ideally further education, e.g. specialist in purchasing and logistics or equivalent
At least 3 years of professional experience in purchasing, ideally in mechanical and plant engineering
Experience with processes in technical purchasing
Proficient in working with ERP systems (ideally SAP) and common MS Office applications
Good technical understanding
Good English skills, both written and spoken
