Your tasks:

  • Responsibility for the supplier and procurement management of defined product groups and investment projects (including auxiliary and operating materials, machinery, construction, services, production materials)
  • Identification of cost optimization potentials in product groups and processes
  • Initiation and implementation of tenders as well as negotiation of conditions and contracts
  • Evaluation and development of existing and establishment of new supplier cooperations
  • Representation of procurement interests in crossfunctional teams
  • Regular business trips to the German BUTTING locations as well as business partners in Germany and other European countries

Your profile:

  • Specialized degree and/or commercial or technical vocational training with relevant further education
  • Solid professional experience in strategic or project procurement
  • Experience in negotiations and implementation of procurement strategies
  • Negotiation skills and assertiveness, resilience and flexibility
  • Crossfunctional thinking and understanding of complex processes
  • Communication skills (internally and externally)
  • Entrepreneurial and strategic thinking
  • Good knowledge of SAP applications is advantageous
  • Proficient in using IT applications
  • Very good knowledge of German in spoken and written form
