For our client, a European company in the plastics industry, we are currently seeking a Commercial Director (m/f/d) with the option to become Managing Director, based in the Berlin/Brandenburg area.


Responsibilities:


  • Operational and strategic management of the Finance, Controlling, HR, and Procurement departments
  • Leadership and development of personnel
  • Establishment of controlling structures and cost center accounting
  • Further development, digitalization, and process optimization of departments
  • Preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements according to HGB
  • Point of contact for auditors, tax advisors, and internal inquiries

Profile:


  • Successfully completed degree in Business Administration, with a focus on Accounting and Controlling preferred, or a comparable education
  • Several years of professional experience in Controlling/Finance and Accounting, as well as in HR
  • Professional and disciplinary leadership experience in the commercial sector
  • Handson mentality and confident, independent demeanor
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken
