We are currently seeking a Point Clear (Transport Logistics) (w/m/d) for DB Cargo AG at our location in Karlsruhe


Your responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing freight trains and wagon groups at the right time and place as a Point Clear
  • Constantly communicating and coordinating with your colleagues to handle thousands of tons of goods
  • Regularly inspecting the condition of our trains, especially the brakes and wagons
  • Your diverse workday will involve customer contact, route driving, and shunting activities
  • Documenting train data in various computer systems

Your profile should include:

  • Completed training in the railway sector (e.g. as a train driver or Point Clear)
  • Possession of a European train driver's license with the A or B2 requirements
  • Unrestricted psychological and occupational fitness for railway operations
  • Ability to work irregular shifts, including early, late, and night shifts, as well as weekends and holidays
  • Teamwork skills and a selfsufficient and responsible work style
  • Good German language skills in both written and spoken form
