Your tasks

  • Collaboration in the development and profiling of the school
  • Initiation, implementation and evaluation of measures for school development and quality assurance
  • Collaboration in the updating of the school program and allday school concept
  • Coordination of school development priorities (e.g. dealing with crossyear and crosssubject heterogeneous learning groups)
  • Organization of class compositions and school transitions
  • Coordination and organization of diagnostic assessments
  • Leading conferences and supporting in the planning of schedules, substitutions, and supervision
  • Maintaining and expanding school networks and cooperation with preschool and afterschool institutions
  • Advising, supporting, and leading teachers in their pedagogical work (e.g. in relation to changing professional requirements)
Our requirements

  • The general expectations for the new position holder are based on the Hessian School Law, the service regulations, and the general guidelines of the Hessian Ministry of Culture for filling functional positions at schools in the Hessenportal, the decree on the job posting and selection process for filling positions of November 24, 2017 (ABI.1/18, p. 35 ff).
  • The following are mandatory requirements for the position:
  • Teaching degree for special needs education with a specialization in intellectual development
  • Proven experience as a civil servant for life or an indefinite employment relationship with at least three years of service
  • At least 3 years of experience at a school with a focus on intellectual development
